Who We Are...
Helping Communities Recover from Disaster
Fernandez Emergency Management Architects is a subsidiary of the private Architecture practice, Hf architect, P.A. which was originally founded by partners Hector C. Fernandez and Howard Bogis.
In 2017, the eye of Hurricane Irma passed over Marco Island in Southwest, Florida affecting several communities including Marco Island, Goodland and Everglades City.
During and after the storm Hector closely worked with the local volunteer group, "The Marco Patriots" to provide emergency assistance.
Soon after Hurricane Irma had passed, the Caribbean was hit again. This time Hurricane Maria severely affected the commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
These life altering series of events prompted Hector & Howard to become fully dedicated to "disaster response". Since leaving Puerto Rico in 2019 Hector & Howard have continued to work on the recovery efforts for other communities such as Panama City and its surrounding areas.

Today we continue to expand our services and expertise as part of our ongoing commitment to "Helping Communities Recover from Disaster".
